: E-Waste Technician
Our e-waste company is seeking a motivated and fast-learning E-Waste Technician and to join our team. As an E-Waste Technician, you will be responsible for the dismantling, sorting, and processing of electronic waste in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing the handling and disposal of e-waste, as well as answering phone calls and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dismantle, sort, and process electronic waste in a safe and efficient manner.
- Identify and segregate different types of e-waste components, including metals, plastics, and circuit boards.
- Operate various tools and equipment, such as power tools, hand tools, and forklifts, to facilitate the dismantling and processing of e-waste.
- Ensure that all e-waste materials are handled and processed in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Answer phone calls and provide excellent customer service, including answering questions, scheduling pickups, and resolving issues.
- Participate in ongoing training and education programs to stay current on industry best practices and regulations.
- Work well in a team environment and be able to work with little direction after training.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to learn quickly and work well in a team environment.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 70 pounds).
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn and take direction.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers over the phone.

- Restoration: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response Training (Preferred)
