Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Inspections and Audits:
- Assist in conducting regular safety inspections of work sites, equipment, and processes to identify and correct potential hazards.
- Monitor and document safety compliance, reporting any violations to the Safety Coordinator or HSE Manager.
- Participate in safety audits and assessments to ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
- Safety Training and Education:
- Support the delivery of safety training programs for employees, including new hire orientations and refresher courses.
- Distribute safety literature, posters, and bulletins to promote awareness of safety practices.
- Assist in the coordination of safety meetings and toolbox talks.
- Incident Response and Reporting:
- Respond to and assist in the investigation of workplace accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents.
- Help gather information for incident reports and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
- Follow up on corrective actions to prevent recurrence of incidents.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Assist in ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and other applicable safety standards.
- Maintain safety records, logs, and reports as required by company policies and regulatory agencies.
- Support the preparation for safety inspections by regulatory bodies.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Management:
- Ensure that employees have access to and are using the required PPE.
- Monitor the condition of PPE and arrange for replacement or repair as needed.
- Educate employees on the proper use, care, and storage of PPE.
- Emergency Preparedness:
- Assist in the implementation of emergency response procedures, including evacuation plans and first aid protocols.
- Participate in emergency drills and ensure employees are aware of emergency exits and procedures.
- Maintain and inspect first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and other emergency equipment.
- Safety Culture Promotion:
- Encourage safe work practices and behaviors among employees.
- Participate in safety committees and contribute ideas to improve workplace safety.
- Support safety initiatives and campaigns to foster a strong safety culture within the organization.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
