Job Overview: E&R Laundry and Dry Cleaners is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Laundry and Dry-Cleaning Associates to join our team! Great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with attention to quality and detail.
Full-Time, Monday through Friday (8/9am start – finish) with weekends off.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Repetitive folding of clean laundry.
- Lifting and maneuvering of laundry bags, weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Standing, or working “on your feet” for extended periods of time.
- Basic computer use. Computerized tracking of laundry.
- Maintain company standards of performance and comply with all.
- Other duties, as assigned: Willingness and ability to work in any area or department within the plant, based upon business needs and as assigned by management.
Additionally, the individual will have the following characteristics:
- Capable of working in a warehouse environment, with elevated temperatures, fluctuating temperatures, loud noises and moving machinery.
- Capable of lifting and maneuvering up to 30 pounds on a consistent basis.
- Team player with the skill set to work independently with minimal direction.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptable to change.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Must be able to read and write the English language.
- Good hand/eye coordination.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.50 per hour
