- Position Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of accounting or business-related experience, preferably within the construction or manufacturing industry. This role will involve overseeing financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial and operational records related to our asphalt plant and terminal operations.
· Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
· Budget Management: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, providing insights and recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.
· Inventory Management: Analyze and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, costs, and usage, coordinating with plant managers to ensure optimal stock levels.
· Data Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
· Fixed Assets: Track and record construction in progress assets and disposals in a timely manner.
· Collaboration: Work closely with plant and terminal management to provide insights, reporting, and support operational decision-making.
· Software Utilization: Utilize accounting software and plant management systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Position Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably within the construction or manufacturing industry.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, etc.).
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
