Position Summary
E.S. Wagner Company, LLC has an excellent opportunity for a Scraper (Pan) Operator. A sample of the position's duties and responsibilities include:
- Operate scraper to move and grade material according to specifications
- Manipulate hand and/or foot controls to operate scraper
- Coordinate machine actions with other activities, moving in response to hand or audio signals
- Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions and follow all safety procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience operating an elevating scraper
- Ability to operate elevating scraper during final grading and finishing operations
- Highway construction experience preferred but not required
- Demonstrate safe operating practices of various pieces of equipment
- Pre-employment drug screening
