We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist healthcare professionals in performing clinical tasks, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for examinations.
- Support emergency medicine procedures as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort during treatment.
- Conduct routine administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing electronic health systems.
- Collaborate with medical staff to provide comprehensive care in a Level I Trauma Center environment.
- Perform basic X-Ray procedures under the supervision of qualified personnel, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy to assist in patient assessments and treatments effectively.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries, educating patients on procedures, and ensuring a positive experience during their visit.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of internal medicine practices and emergency medicine protocols is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with hospital operations and urgent care environments is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of vital signs monitoring and basic medical procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact compassionately with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independence when necessary.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems for documentation and patient management.
