Job Overview

Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide support for patients with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Cerner.
- Administer basic medical procedures as directed by nursing staff.
- Assist with the management of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) for patient use.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and services.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
- Experience in senior care or assisted living settings is preferred.
- Previous experience in patient care or hospice care is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills to provide compassionate patient service.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
