Job title: 2nd Line/Oversight Risk Consultant
Location: Irving, TX is the #1 preference, but OK with Charlotte (Uptown) as well
Duration: 12 Months
Required Skills:
- Must have consulting experience specifically with 2nd line of defense and/or oversight
- Strong communication and presentation skills are a must as they will be presenting to senior executives
- Experience partnering with the Front Line to review proposed changes and provide insight into potential compliance risks that require further assessment or mitigation
- Experience performing credible challenge related to change management
- Ability to be a thought leader and proactively present concerns and escalations to senior management
- Financial institution experience
- Credit Risk experience
- Nice to have:
- Auto Lending risk experience
- Project/Day to Day Information (should not be taken from job description):
- The role is supporting a systems migration in the auto lending risk space. It is a critcal role in overseeing certain aspects of the business' implementation of the Compliance Program Policy and the Auto Lending Compliance team's implementation of the Compliance Program Policy. Provide Compliance oversight of the Front line's execution of the program and potential compliance impacts. Document and provide regulatory compliance risk expertise and consulting for projects and other strategic initiatives. Oversee the Front Line's execution and challenges appropriately on compliance related decisions.
