Job Title - Forklift Operator (2 openings) - Urgent Need
Job Type - 2 Months Contract
Job Location - Memphis, TN 38108
Schedule : Monday through Friday 7 : 30-4 : 00 PM CST. Some weekends included.
Job Responsibilities
Driving a forklift, and lifting, weighing, stacking, and moving 50 lbs. bags of product for about 75% of the shift. These may be moved by forklift or by hand dolly.
Good housekeeping to be always maintained. Work in a safe and efficient manner consistent with company rules and regulations. Run multiple pieces of equipment, i.e., batching mixers, pellet mills, grinders, grain cleaners; receives ingredients by truck and rail, monitors ingredients inventory levels.
Manufacture products to ensure that they meet specifications, and HACCP requirements.
Standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing, pulling, and working in small spaces.
Driving will be required to complete certain tasks. Safe operation of a forklift is required.
Must have steel toed boots
Client will provide the rest of the PPE
Warehouse experience is a plus. Warehouse area is not climate controlled.
