Job Title - Packaging Operator
Job Type - 3 months
Job Location - 1012 Pearl Street, Franklinton, LA 70438
Day shift 4 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM (8 to 12 hours shifts)
Night Shift 4 : 00 PM - 4 : 00 AM (8-to-12-hour shifts)
Schedule : Monday through Friday rotating days and nights every other week; sometimes it will be Monday through Thursday and sometimes Monday through Saturday with possible overtime available.
Worker will rotate days and nights- 1 week on days, next week on nights
Job Description :
Running bagging machine to ensure the correct animal feed makes it into the correct bags in a safe and quality-oriented manner. The documentation of the production process are required with general computer work.
This entails checking bag weights on a regular basis to ensure compliance, ensuring bags are sealed properly, labels are correct, etc. Occasionally lift up to 50lbs
Must haves :
Worked in production environment
Comfortable to work in environment with smells such as animal feed; dust, changes in climate might have to work outside and inside.
Must be able to lift up to 50 Ibs.
Training will be provided and how to follow safety rules.
