- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or related field OR related practical experience
- 5 years of experience in a software engineering role (Infrastructure or Application)
- 2 years of experience in public cloud (AWS, Google Cloud Platform or Azure)
- 5 years in a programming language (Java, Python, Go desired)
- Experience in Container Orchestration (Kubernetes desired) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform desired)
- Proven ability to design components in Container Orchestration (Kubernetes desired) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform desired).
- Experience in cloud networking and compute (GCE, Firewalls, etc.), and IaC Resources and Modules setup (Terraform)
- Strong Software Engineering and Design background - Java, Python, Go - with interest in Cloud Platform Engineering. Should have strong Software Engineering concepts and fundamentals.
- Experience on standing up / engineering Cloud Platform infrastructure from scratch (Greenfield Experience) with best practices implementation.
- Should have strong Kubernetes engineering experience.
- Should have strong Terraform code / modules writing experience (from scratch instead of modifying the existing code.
- Should be able to drive the Cloud Infrastructure setup independently.
- Should have experience or should be able to provide the automation solution ideas for the Cloud Platform Provisioning.
