\n- Lead operator for manual commanding and spacecraft health monitoring
- Play a key role with testing of the spacecraft during development, so you have a deep understanding of how to operate the spacecraft(s), what to monitor, and how to mitigate issues
- Work with all engineering disciplines to help develop CONOPS, perform Day-in-the-lift testing (DITL), and support day-to-day operations of mission post-launch
- Enhance automation tools and workflows to improve operational efficiency
- Clearly convey the progress of mission and any anomalies to key stakeholders in a timely manner
- Failure Mode Analysis (FMEA) and fault injection testing
- Scripting knowledge (Python, MATLAB, Bash, etc.)
- Proficient in automation, scripting and building standalone apps
- Experience with Linux environment
- Excellent documentation, communication, and written skills
- Prior operations experience in aerospace
- Experience with containerization environments like Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience with querying databases (SQL, NoSQL, filestores, etc.)
This is a full time, exempt position, based out of our Saratoga office. The target base pay for this position is $100,000 - $165,000 annually. The total compensation packaged will be determined by various factors such as your relevant job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used—so we’re looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience on LEO satellite component development, design and in-orbit activities. If that’s your experience – then we’ll be immediately wow-ed.
