The E-Space Manufacturing team builds the world's most advanced aerospace products.
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will build the world’s most advanced products. You will collaborate with manufacturing engineers to radically improve processes. Your ideas will be recognized through prototyping and production. Further, you will have frequent opportunities to bring your ideas to life.
This position reports to the Director of Manufacturing and is based in Arlington, TX. In order to be successful in this role, you must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed. Occasional travel may be required as well.
\n- Create master data- lead time, MOQ, part numbers
- Create “Plan For Every Part”
- Improve P/N schema
- Recommend BOM structure for manufacturability
- Launch production orders, monitor closure
- Demand planning
- Inventory management
- Develop and improve processes related to ERP and configuration control
- 5 years of experience in textiles, automotive, or aerospace
- Proficiency with ERP / MRP
- Experience with demand planning
- Production order management
- Set-up of new product lines in MRP
- Solid understanding of the following processes: shipping/receiving, Demand planning, production order management, inventory management, configuration control, quality management
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and curiosity
- Demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to apply Lean and continuous improvement
- Exposure to MES systems
- Configuration management experience
- Robotics and automation experience
- Apply Lean Six Sigma manufacturing concepts
This is a full time, exempt position, based out of our Arlington, TX office.
We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used—so we’re looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience on LEO satellite component development, design and in-orbit activities. If that’s your experience – then we’ll be immediately wow-ed.
