Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in vehicle painting, ensuring that all automotive services are performed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role requires proficiency with various tools and techniques, including power tools, buffing, and auto painting, to deliver exceptional results for our customers.

Duties

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Utilize power tools effectively for tasks such as buffing, airless paint spraying, and auto painting.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs or services.
  • Estimate repair costs accurately, providing clear communication to customers regarding their vehicle’s needs.
  • Engage in auto restoration projects, restoring vehicles to their original condition or enhancing their performance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Painter or similar role within a dealership or independent shop.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Familiarity with auto estimating processes and restoration techniques is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in the use of power tools, buffing equipment, airless paint sprayers, and other automotive tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive technology are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed
