Client is seeking a WebSphere Developer for our Healthcare General Ledger Accounting System (HIGLAS) program. The WebSphere Developer is a top-level technical expert in one or more highly specialized areas of applications systems analysis and programming. This position acts independently under general direction, provides technical leadership and should be an expert in business or functional area. This team member formulates / defines system scope and objectives and devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems. The WebSphere Developer prepares detailed specifications and is responsible for developing, unit testing, debugging and documentation. This team member should have full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming and is accountable for providing work estimates and may be responsible for multiple phases of a project.
Responsibilities will also include guiding / directing and checking the work of other developers.
HOW A WEBSPHERE DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT :
- Design and develop technical solutions that meet business requirements based on functional designs and provides recommendations on the nature, scope, and complexity of solutions.
- Provide technical specifications, unit test plans and installation plans for new systems or enhancements
- Verification of feasibility of Business User's request functionality and business rules based on existing technical systems and data model.
- Develop technical design documentation of WebSphere dependent data conversions, interfaces, custom reporting.
- Perform problem analysis, coding, unit testing and debugging
- Coordinate with team members to work on solutions and perform design / code reviews
- Develop advanced solutions in Oracle EBS and related technologies and tools
- Develop file and database structures, interfaces between internal and external systems
- Design forms, reports, data collection, processing and control procedures for assigned systems
- Maintain technical and functional awareness and competence
- Support all technical activities and follow the processes outlined to be in compliance with approved agile approach.
- Deliver solutions that meet the identified SLAs.
- Produce all work products and deliverables with quality and on schedule.
- Perform technical analysis of patches and open SRs with the product owner as required.
- Provide post-production support on application issues.
