Panel Fabrication Shop Manager

We are seeking an Panel Fabrication Shop Manager to manage and lead E Tech Group's panel shop fabrication process while ensuring adherence to applicable standards, client specifications, and regulations. You will manage a team of technicians, optimize production processes, maintain a safe and efficient work environment, and collaborate with internal and external clients.

You will:

• Manage and be accountable for E Tech Group's manufacturing process that includes fabrication, assembly, testing, and quality control of electrical control panels, from quoting to delivery.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, client specifications, and relevant agency regulations.
• Manage and optimize shop schedules and resource allocation to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
• Be responsible for estimating and forecasting labor, materials and budgets for current projects, and forecasting of potential workload from the sales pipeline.
• Manage a team of panel builders, electricians, technicians, and support staff.
• Support E Tech Group's business standards and contribute to continuous operational improvements.
• Collaborate with clients and other departments for project success and business development.
• Effective utilization of business associates and assets.
• Develop and manage key and strategic partnering relationships with vendors and/or subcontractors.
• Be responsible for monitoring and ensuring adherence to all safety training and practices as they relate to manufacturing and manufacturing associates.
• Responsible for maintenance of manufacturing equipment, building and grounds.
• Be an ambassador that prioritizes the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the Careers of our associates.
  
  

You have:

• 10 years of experience in electrical panel fabrication, with at least 2 years in a leadership/management role.
• Familiarity with shop equipment, fabrication processes and software applications
• Working knowledge for application of OSHA regulations, NEC code, and UL certifications
• Associates technical degree and/or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Business Management knowledge and understanding of financials for project and services-based business.
• Ability to lead and manage E Tech Group's skilled technical team for successful application implementation.
• Ability to manage and muti-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability of working with clients regarding business development and implementation strategies.
