Primary Responsibilities
- Assess students' communication abilities, developing individualized therapy plans based on assessment results and student needs.
- Provide direct therapy services targeting areas such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support students' communication goals.
- Stay up-to-date with evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities, incorporating them into therapy sessions.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with students in a school or pediatric setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
