Overview: We are seeking a dynamic School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services to students, collaborate with school teams, and support academic achievement, social-emotional development, and positive behavior.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and needs.
- Interpret assessment results and communicate findings clearly to students, families, teachers, and school staff.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs), behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and academic interventions.
- Provide counseling and psychotherapy services to students individually and in group settings.
- Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff to provide strategies and interventions to support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development activities related to school climate, positive behavior supports, social-emotional learning, and mental health promotion.
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school or educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment measures, testing procedures, and diagnostic criteria.
- Excellent understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
