The Senior Building Superintendent is responsible for all maintenance required on the assigned commercial property, including all work done by contractors. The Senior Building Superintendent is also responsible for ensuring that work is completed in a timely manner.

• Minimum five years of experience in a building superintendent role preferably with management experience
• Organizational skills in order to juggle multiple projects with accuracy and timeliness
• Experience in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot
• Handle all service calls within a timely manner and to the satisfaction of the tenant
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for the tenants, staff members, and visitors in all areas of the community
• Inspect work performed by subcontractors such as cleaning companies and flooring installers
• Visit tenants and submits building walkthrough report monthly
• Communicate with the Expeditor to stock day-to-day supplies and equipment needs
• Daily communication with the Expeditor on job progress, upon job completion or when problems / discrepancies occur
• Maintain a neat and clean work area
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying particular attention to health and safety procedures
• Ability to work independently is a must
• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Must be proficient in the use of technology including video conferencing and basic computer skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Outlook, Excel
• Knowledge of SmartSheets is a plus
