What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Clerk position at E & V Energy Co?
Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll for multiple companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain employee records related to payroll, including changes in salary, deductions, and benefits.
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports in a timely manner.
- Resolve any payroll-related issues or discrepancies and address employee inquiries.
- Assist with year-end reporting and tax documentation (W-2, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Perform other clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
