As a key member of the E-VOLVE CARE team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll. This involves maintaining precise records of employee hours, wages, and deductions, as well as ensuring compliance with federal and state payroll regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring Paylocity Time & Labor is accurate and completed by the payroll cutoff date
- Maintaining accurate records of employee hours, wages, and deductions
- Ensuring compliance with federal and state payroll regulations
- Responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits
- Preparing and distributing payroll reports as needed
- Collaborating with HR and accounting departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll
- Staying up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and best practices
- Frequent verbal and written communication with colleagues
Additionally, this role involves responsible for accounts payable, processing invoices in a timely manner, processing billing for client services bi-weekly, and timely upkeep of existing and upcoming contracts (service agreements).
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2 years of experience in payroll processing
- Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in G Suite, Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Experience with Paylocity is a plus
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
