Become a logistics coordinator! Orchestrate long-haul shipments, collaborating with brokers, carriers, account managers, and customers. Analyze freight data for potential risks and mitigate them before they become an issue. Keep everyone informed and build thriving professional relationships with clear communication. YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate closely with freight brokers, customers, carriers, and operations personnel regarding freight bookings.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of freight data into the transportation management system (TMS).
- Identify potential risks including delays with pickups / deliveries, documentation, or any other issues that may arise.
- Maintain and develop professional relationships with internal and external clients through quality communication and updates.
