A DAY IN THE LIFE
As the Director of Equipment Sales, your day will include a dynamic mix of leadership and strategic sales management. You’ll lead the equipment sales team, providing the support training, and structure necessary to ensure your team can be successful. Your role will involve developing and implementing sales strategies, monitoring the market, and actively participating in the sales process to ensure the team meets and exceeds performance targets.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Advise, lead, and direct the equipment sales team while providing consistent coaching and feedback to ensure success and empower the team to achieve target goals.
- Refine and maintain the equipment sales process by establishing strong strategic sales processes.
- Build, maintain, and expand strong customer relationships that build the company’s reputation and drive sales.
- Develop and establish operational KPIs to define common goals and establish a baseline for success.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the company’s equipment sales and the team driving the day-to-day success.
- Create and foster an environment where strong communication is consistent between team members and other departments.
- Actively participate in the sales process to ensure that the team can achieve and exceed operational KPIs.
- Stay current with changes and developments in the profession by monitoring professional trends and ensuring that the equipment sales team continually develops their skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business with a sales emphasis, or a related field and a minimum of four (4) years of experience within a sales environment. An equivalent amount of education and experience may be substituted.
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience managing a transportation/operations team
SALARY AND SCHEDULE
- Salary: Pay is decided based on experience.
- Schedule: Full-time; Flex-time remote and in-office; Monday-Friday; Some travel required.
