Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Foreman to lead our electrical team on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, construction management, and team leadership. As an Electrical Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality control measures.
Duties
- Review scope, plans, specifications, and layouts for commercial projects
- Establish means and methods for installations
- Attend weekly jobsite coordination meetings for projects
- Supervision of journeymen and apprentices working on your project
- Responsible for onsite coordination between Construction Managers, owners’ representatives, and other trades
- Responsible for all tools and equipment provided to your project
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and report on financial performance related to electrical work.
- Generate material requests, receive & verify material and maintain stock on site for multiple installers
- Assist with manpower planning and scheduling on your project
- Maintain daily pre-task plans and logs of daily activities on site
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Journeyman license is required
- 2 years Supervisory/Foreman experience preferred
- 5 years electrical construction experience required
- Ability to read plans and specifications
- Working knowledge of the NEC
- Experience with PlanGrid, Procore, Autodesk a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and budget management
