What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Delivery Driver position at E-Z Kitchens?
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented delivery driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting cabinets, countertops, and related materials to customer locations while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Safely load, transport, and unload cabinets and countertops at designated locations.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in excellent condition.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in proper working order.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon delivery.
- Communicate effectively with the warehouse team, sales staff, and customers to ensure seamless deliveries.
- Handle products with care to avoid damage during transit.
- Assist with warehouse duties when deliveries are not scheduled.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving truck with trailer or similar delivery vehicles preferred. No CDL required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 100 lbs.) with proper technique.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to read delivery schedules and navigate efficiently.
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
