Job Summary:
The Cost Analyst position is a key role in our organization, responsible for providing analytical support on various projects. As a Cost Analyst, you will work closely with our project management team to analyze costs and schedules, develop and maintain cost plans, and forecast costs to complete.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cost plans and forecasts for projects
- Analyze and report on project performance using established industry standards
- Ensure accurate and current project cost information is reflected in project budgets and reports
- Communicate project risks related to costs to key stakeholders
- Assist project managers in preparing funding requests and gaining project authorization
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant field
- 3-5 years of experience as a Cost Analyst or relevant project controls experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cost engineering software tools
- Cost experience associated with construction operations
- Accounting/budgeting knowledge
