Assembly Technician

We are hiring for an Assembly Technician on 1st shift!

Responsibilities:

• Perform soldering, assembly, and inspection per IPC-J-STD-001 standards.
• Utilize techniques for wiring, installation, and cable harnessing.
• Mix and apply epoxy, conformal coatings, adhesives, and potting compounds.
• Execute soldering, welding, wiring, and insulation for electronic assemblies.
• Operate and maintain selective solder and other assembly machines.
• Assist Engineering with equipment changes and troubleshooting.
• Perform technician-level tasks as directed by supervisors.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and procedures.
• Provide input on soldering techniques for quality improvement.
• Conduct quality inspections to identify defects.
• Maintain detailed records of processes and progress.
• Work with supervisors, technicians, and engineers to meet quality and demand.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Criteria for Success:

• 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• 2 years of IPC soldering experience.
• IPC-J-STD-001 certification.
• Skilled in through-hole, surface mount, and rework/reflow soldering.
• Ability to read and follow assembly instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ownership of tasks with a focus on quality, efficiency, and safety.
• PC proficiency; Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Assembly: 2 years (Required)

• J Standard Certification (Preferred)
• IPC-610 Certification (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:
