Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and have experience working with Press and Tool Room operations.
Duties
- Manage daily production operations to meet production targets and schedules.
- Supervise and train production staff on best practices for operating machinery and tools.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Oversee the assembly line processes, ensuring that products are assembled correctly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, inventory levels, and equipment status.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or factory environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various manufacturing machinery.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with ERP and MS software.
