Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Management:
- Supervise and train shipping and receiving personnel as needed.
- Assign tasks and ensure timely completion.
Shipping and Receiving Operations:
- Oversee all aspects of shipping and receiving activities, including receiving, checking, storing, and preparing goods for shipments.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Ensure accuracy of shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, serialization, and shipping labels.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Work within Customer Portals uploading documentation.
Coordination and Communication:
- Coordinate with other departments, such as quality, production, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
- Communicate with carriers and freight forwarders to optimize shipping processes and resolve any issues.
Problem-Solving and Improvement:
- Identify and resolve shipping-related issues, such as delays or damaged goods.
- Proactively address any challenges in the logistics process.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Other Duties:
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
