The Member Communications Specialist is responsible for coordinating and executing multi-channel campaigns across print, email, SMS, IVR, and web. This role ensures all member-facing communications are accurate, timely, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. Our Member Communications Team plays a crucial role in ensuring members receive clear, timely, and engaging communications that improve health outcomes, enhance experiences, and drive satisfaction. Collaborates with internal stakeholders—including Member Engagement, Clinical, Product, and Compliance teams—as well as external print and fulfillment vendors to ensure seamless execution.GENERAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Support marketing communications leader(s) in executing member communication initiatives, including copyediting, project coordination, distribution, and reporting.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Clinical, Member Engagement, Product) to align marketing initiatives with business priorities and proactively manage the annual communications calendar.
3. Manage and maintain the member communications calendar, ensuring campaigns align with call center capacity and member experience goals.
4. Coordinate with print/fulfillment vendors and digital platform leads to ensure timely and accurate distribution of materials.
5. Track and report on campaign engagement metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for optimization.
6. Maintain an organized repository of all communications for compliance tracking and audit purposes.
7. Identify and support process improvements to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and reduce redundancies.
8. Other Duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Experience:
• Required: Minimum 3 years of experience in communications coordination, marketing project management, or campaign execution. Experience managing multi-channel campaigns (email, direct mail, SMS, IVR, web).
• Preferred: Healthcare or Insurance industry experience. Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Talkdesk IVR, or similar platforms is a plus.
Education:
• Required: High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Similar
• Preferred: MBA
Specialized Skills:
• Required:
- Familiarity with CMS regulations related to Medicare member communications.
- Ability to communicate positively, professionally and effectively with others; provide leadership, teach and collaborate with others.
- Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to establish and maintain a constructive relationship with diverse members, management, employees and vendors;
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform mathematical calculations and calculate simple statistics correctly
- Reasoning Skills: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks; advanced problem-solving; ability to use advanced reasoning to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and design, implement and manage appropriate resolution.
