This role involves managing and processing workers' compensation claims, ensuring fair and accurate evaluations and resolutions. Our bilingual team members provide exceptional service to our diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate, evaluate, and manage workers' compensation claims from inception to resolution.
- Conduct interviews with claimants, employers, and witnesses in both English and Spanish.
- Review medical reports, accident reports, and other relevant documentation to assess claims.
- Determine appropriate settlements and authorize payments within established guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with claimants, medical providers, legal representatives, and other stakeholders in both English and Spanish.
- Evaluate claims according to state and federal regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claims activities and decisions.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to claimants and stakeholders throughout the claims process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in workers' compensation claims adjusting or a similar role.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional certifications (e.g., AIC, WCCA) are a plus.
