We are looking for experienced teachers to join our team! This is an in-person role, we have two locations, Levittown and Bensalem, PA, and would prefer an applicant who can tutor at both locations. We offer competitive compensation that is dependent upon the number of years an applicant has teaching.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement customized lesson plans based on student's individual needs and learning goals.
- Teach in the following subjects, including but not limited to : multi-step equations, linears, linear inequalities, slopes, quadratic equations, quadratic functions, polynomials, area and volume, proofs, reflections, translations, transformations, Pythagorean theorem, Interior and exterior angles, circles, trigonometric ratios, polyhedra, pyramids, central angels, Etc.
- Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Utilize learning technology and resources to enhance the tutoring experience.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for students.
- Assist students in developing effective study skills and strategies.
- Monitor and track students' academic performance.
