Senior Associate - Fund Administration
The FACT Division within E78 offers four different services to our clients:
- Outsourced CFO
- Outsourced Compliance
- Fund Administration
- Tax and Advisory Services
The FACT division provides employees with full exposure to the Alternative Investment Industry with client support covering the full spectrum of Investment vehicles, including Hedge, Private Equity, Private Credit and Venture Capital Funds. E78 Partners provides comprehensive solutions that span the Fund investment life cycle - from initial Operational, Accounting and Compliance set up, ongoing middle and back-office operations, CFO, Fund Administration, Compliance and Tax and Advisory services. Employees will support and be exposure to a wide range of Fund structures and strategies. Currently, E78 FACT provides services to over 400 funds and managed accounts aggregating over $60 Billion in AUM.
Position Summary
We are looking for a diligent and experienced Senior Associate to join our expanding Fund Accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Fund Accounting within a fund administration, banking, or financial services environment. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively within a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field. A master's degree or a professional certification (such as a CPA) is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of Fund Accounting & Private Equity experience required.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools. Advanced knowledge of Excel (Vlookup, pivot tables, & macros).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends or anomalies.
- Familiarity with private equity, fund accounting, and interpretation of key concepts and terms in governing legal documents (Waterfall, management fees, allocations.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders and clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions. Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to work effectively, independently and within a team environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
- Provide support for the clients' counterparties (Auditors and Tax Service providers).
- Ability to work at the E78 Corporate Headquarters in Chicago, IL office 3 days a week.
- The salary range in Illinois is $70,000 - $100,000, which includes a base salary and bonus, and will be based on experience
