About the Role
Come contribute to our team developing civil and environmental infrastructure projects as Construction Inspector. We deliver solutions for our public works and private clients through all phases of a project lifecycle. This position is focused on construction inspection/oversight, with potential responsibilities and the opportunity for growth in construction management, operations support, and environmental monitoring.
What You Will Do
The Construction Inspector will work with a senior construction manager and engineers to oversee civil and environmental construction.

Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and standards for projects including:

Site development (grading, drainage, utilities, pavement, concrete, etc.)

Stormwater management facilities

Water and wastewater facilities
-
Landfill cells and caps
-
Document construction activities through daily reports and photographs.

Work with the internal project team and contractor to correct any deficiencies.

Participate in routine construction progress meetings and provide status reports.

Support communication with contractors, clients, and regulators.

Assist internal project teams with a variety of field engineering tasks or environmental monitoring, as needed.
This position will be tailored to a specific candidate's experience and personal interest and is best suited for an individual that is excited to develop experience across a range of projects.
What You Need

H.S. diploma/GED or an Associate or Bachelor's degree in engineering technology, construction management, building construction, civil engineering, or a related field.

4 or more years of civil or environmental construction inspection experience.

Experience with soils/materials testing, reinforced concrete, utilities, pavement, drainage, and geosynthetics inspection is preferred.

Anticipated salary range - $50,000 - $80,000.
