What You Will Do
The Early Career Geologist will assist in remedial investigations, site characterizations, third-party construction oversight, and remedial design support under both State and Federal Programs.
Specific Duties
- Assist with site investigations, environmental sampling, and data collection.
- Participate in remedial design support and site characterization for environmental remediation projects.
- Support third-party construction oversight, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety protocols.
- Analyze and manage environmental data, preparing technical reports, data summaries, and site evaluation documents.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, environmental scientists, and clients on diverse projects.
- Assist in the development of proposals for environmental projects, showcasing technical capabilities and solutions.
- Travel to project sites (up to 60%) to assist with fieldwork, site inspections, and meetings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in the environmental industry, with a focus on site characterization and remediation.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations (both state and federal) and their application to remedial projects.
- Familiarity with environmental field sampling procedures and protocols.
- Proficiency in evaluating and managing analytical data, including preparing summaries and reports.
- 40-hour OSHA Certification (or willingness to obtain)
