The Environmental Scientist/Data Manager candidate will support projects across the United States with field, laboratory and data validation coordination.

Pay Range
$50,000—$60,000 USD

Position Overview
The Environmental Scientist/Data Manager candidate will support projects across the United States with field, laboratory and data validation coordination.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, manage, track, process and review laboratory produced data.
- Integrate with project teams to manage the flow of data.
- Manage large environmental datasets in relational database programs.
- Manage subcontractors such as laboratories and data validation firms.
- Handle quality control checks on chemical laboratory data.
- Create electronic data deliverables for State and Federal clients.
- Create data work products such as data tables, graphs, and statistical analysis.
- Participate in developing Quality Assurance Project Plans, Data Management Plans, and data usability assessments.
- B.S./B.A. degree in environmental science, chemistry, or related discipline.
- 2 years of combined commercial environmental laboratory or environmental consulting experience.
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and technical writing skills.
- Be a self-motivated, creative problem solver who can work both independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Professional experience in an analytical lab setting.
- Professional experience using EQuIS, ERPIMS, or other environmental database programs.
