Job Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated Anesthesia Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
Assist in the care of patients undergoing anesthesia including: preparation of anesthesia equipment prior to the patient’s arrival, placement of anesthesia monitors, ensuring the cleanliness of anesthesia equipment, ensuring availability of specialized anesthesia equipment and supplies and the set-up of medications and supplies where applicable.
Continuously communicate with anesthesiologists, residents, CRNAs and anesthesia technologists to ensure their needs are met throughout the day.
Assist clinicians with difficult intubations and the placement of central line catheters.
Requirements :
- BLS ( AHA )
- Two years of experience as an Anesthesia Tech
- Certification by the registry of the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists or other nationally recognized professional certifying body preferred.
Job Types:
Contract 13 weeks Extension possible.
Shift :
Schedule- Monday - Friday; Days: 40hr/week scheduled from 8am-5pm.
