A Candidate for this position must be able to read and interpret blueprints. The Candidate must also be skilled in creating CNC programs, setting the part up and running the part to attain repeatability and cycle time. This position must perform test runs and make adjustments until the resulting product meets blueprint specifications. Candidates that tend to be successful in this position are adaptable to a Job Shop environment; hands-on management style; are task and results oriented; and able to work and communicate with people at all levels from shop floor to top management. This is a detail-oriented position that requires a candidate that has considerable planning, judgment, and the ability to work independently while driving continuous improvement and optimization is all day-to-day activities.
Job Responsibilities
Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with specified blueprints
Develop Program for CNC machines in an organized, methodical, cost-effective manner
Commit to plant safety procedures and work with safety committee team members
Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications
Supports AS9100 & ISO requirements for quality policy and procedures
Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality
Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise
Machine parts to hold tolerances per blueprint or solid modeling specifications
Job Requirements
3 years' machining experience
Able to program via manual, conversational or CAM software
GD&T knowledge preferred
Willing to work overtime as required
Ability to work independently
Knowledge of MasterCam is preferred

Possess computer and software skills
Mathematical skills
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and possess good communication skills
Ability to manage and handle consistent change to day-to-day operations and processes
