Job Description
This position is responsible for the physical assembly, piping and testing of HVAC equipment. The Technician will install all components and interconnecting piping as well as brazing the circuit. Once assembled the technician will be responsible for evacuation and charging of system. HVAC Technicians also assist with mechanical assembly and testing of equipment. All duties must be performed in accordance with all company policies and procedures.
Duties And Responsibilities
Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
Assist in the manufacturing and modification of our custom HVAC/R Systems
Install interconnecting piping in HVAC system
Installation of electrical wiring based on the wiring diagrams provided by the SAT engineering team
Assisting in performance and troubleshooting tests of HVAC/R Systems and their controls
Troubleshooting and Repair of Client Maintenance Issues as needed
Visit customers facility when required to install, commission, or repair our equipment
Perform other duties as assigned or as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Read drawings and understand basic electrical wiring
Read mechanical and electrical drawings with minimum assistance
Able to communicate effectively with all team members, leads, builders, engineers and the Project Manager
Complete task with high standard of quality with attention to detail
Ability to use basic hand tools
Ability to use multi-meter to read voltage, current and resistance required
Ability to meet deadline under pressure
