Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled ADAS Algorithm Engineer with a strong background in algorithm design and development for automotive systems. This role involves working on cutting-edge technology to enhance driver safety and vehicle automation, with a specific focus on ultrasonic sensing systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance applications for ADAS, specializing in computer vision and machine learning.
- Oversee the development of advanced software for ultrasonic sensing systems, taking ownership of the ultrasonics signal processing component from driver-level signal processing to object points estimation, end-to-end.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of mathematical modeling for echo processing and tracking.
- Identify and fix bugs in the software pipeline to maintain software quality.
- Develop simulation features for the ultrasonic perception stack within simulation environments.
- Create algorithms for stochastic codes, which serve as firing patterns for ultrasonic sensor arrays around vehicles.
- Spearhead the training, evaluation, and testing of deep learning algorithm pipelines for ultrasonic data processing.
- Mentor team members on various topics related to algorithm development and software engineering.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and deliver scalable solutions that meet business needs, while remaining passionate about continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 8-12 years of relevant experience in algorithm development for ADAS, with a focus on ultrasonic sensing systems.
- Strong background in computer vision and machine learning, with at least 8 years of specialized experience.
- Proficient in programming languages such as C/C and Python.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $65.55 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
