Job Summary
LPN - Urgent Opening
- Job Title: LPN - Correctional Health Services
- Location: 1500 Hazen St East Elmhurst, NY 11370 ( Rikers Island)
- Shift Schedule: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM/12:00 AM-8:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 40/Week.
- Duration of the Contract: 13 Weeks (with Highly Possible Extension).
Requirements:
Skills: Five years of experience
Education: Currently licensed to practice as an LPN in NYS - Required ASN -
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a corrections facility medical clinic, including catheterization and tube feeding.
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Administer basic life support and assist with IV infusion as needed.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care.
- Support patients with developmental disabilities and provide health coaching as required.
