Overview
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for medical testing and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture to collect blood samples
- Label vials with patient names and dates
- Organize and send samples to the laboratory for testing
- Follow proper patient identification procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Provide exceptional patient care during the blood-drawing process
Skills
- Proficient in phlebotomy techniques
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and specimen collection processing
- Familiarity with medical terminology and physiology
- Ability to interact professionally with patients in a hospital or clinical setting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sample labeling and documentation
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $23.48 - $28.70 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
