What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at EA Team Inc.?
Responsibilities:
- Work safely following company procedures
- Service and repair HVAC related equipment according to manufacturer's specifications
- Ability to maintain residential HVAC equipment
- Commission installations
- Demonstrate and establish effective working relationships with co-workers and superiors
- Properly maintain equipment histories, billing, etc. in digital platform
- Take all readings on a machine and understand the importance of such
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned company vehicle
- Any other assigned duties as directed by management
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- EPA Certification Required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Service Technician
Key Competencies:
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, frequently encountered in support of HVAC systems
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Self-Motivated but able to take direction and be part of a team
- Honest and dependable
- Valid, insurable driver's license, pass a drug screening and background check
