The Role In Brief
Senior Front End Engineer
Seeking a Senior Front-End UI Engineer to help us deliver amazing new solutions for our partners. We believe modern UI is critical to connect our end users with the core value we develop. The product you will lead UI development for is a SaaS based enterprise web-app that is purposely designed and built to fulfill a core mission in the education industry. Join us and help make our education smarter and our communities stronger.
This role may be based out of EAB’s Washington, D.C. office; Richmond, VA office; or open to remote work within the continental U.S.
Primary Responsibilities
Compensation
The anticipated starting salary (base) range for this role is $84,000 - $125,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant experience, skills, and location. At EAB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the starting salary range for their role.
This hire will additionally be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, such as individual and organizational performance.

Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality code within a fast-paced, Agile environment
- Convert production mockups to quality HTML5 Applications for multiple enterprise software products
- Self-start and steward your implementations through the software development process ensuring you champion the standards of the UX team in every development challenge
- Follow common sustainable design, management, and development methodologies
- Perform end-to-end and unit testing
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
- 5 years of professional work experience in software development
- 5 years of professional work experience with HTML5
- 5 years of professional work experience with Modern Web Frameworks and Tools (e.g., Vue.js, React, Angular, Lit)
- 5 years of professional work experience with Modern Web Environments and Tools (e.g., NPM, Gulp, Rush, Docker)
- Proficient with Mobile and Responsive concepts and design frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation)
- Proficient with MPA and SPA paradigms and CRUD/BREAD API contracts
- 5 years of professional work experience coding rich, immersive interfaces using HTML5
- Demonstrated strong front-end development skills especially concerning accessibility, extensibility, client-side computing, object-oriented design patterns, and object-oriented CSS
- Proven ability to manage several projects simultaneously
- Past experience in the education or healthcare industry, or business intelligence
