The Role in Brief :
Strategic Leader – Transfer and Recruitment Success, Senior Associate
The Strategic Leader is the primary relationship manager and consultant for our college and university partner institutions, playing the lead role in embedding our Transfer Portal and emerging Navigate360 technology (Recruitment Success, Advancement Success) across campus and ensuring our partners see value in our technology. In addition to partnering with executives and senior leaders to set and execute strategic goals, the Strategic Leader will work with leadership across departments (primarily Enrollment Management, Admissions, Marketing, Registrar, and Advancement) to drive depth and breadth of use of the platform, leverage data to identify new areas of opportunity and identify and overcome systemic obstacles to transfer, student enrollment, and alumni engagement. The EAB Technology division is committed to a diverse and inclusive community, and we are looking for individuals excited to contribute to this community and who bring experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be excited to lead an established technology focused on strategic support at scale (Transfer Portal – 50% of time) and quickly pivot to a startup technology mindset and the development of early-stage technologies (Recruitment Success – 40% of time, Advancement Success – 10% of time).
This role is ideally based in Washington, DC and is also open to candidates based in Richmond, VA.
Primary Responsibilities
Transfer Portal (50%)
Embedding Transfer Portal Adoption and Utilization :
- Manage the end-to-end relationship with universities and community colleges utilizing EAB’s Transfer Portal technology, from initial onboarding to continued platform adoption and utilization, through goal-setting and consulting on strategic use
- Consult with campus executives on establishing and maintaining an effective leadership team responsible for the success of the Transfer Portal technology, setting clear expectations for utilization and accountability towards set goals
- Assess existing prospective transfer student recruitment practices, onboarding processes and student experience; Identify opportunities to develop optimal workflow integration of the platform
- Collaborate with leaders across campus on change management strategies
- Partner with EAB technical / data support staff and launch consultants to ensure smooth implementation of our technology platform

Compensation :
The anticipated starting salary (base) range for this role is $65,000 to $80,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant experience, skills, and location. At EAB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the starting salary range for their role.
This hire will additionally be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, such as individual and organizational performance.
