We are currently looking for a highly skilled and proactive Operations Manager to join our team in Hilton Head, SC! The ideal candidate will serve as the right-hand to the owner, taking the lead in running daily operations, implementing strategies, and bringing the owner's vision and ideas to life. This role requires strong leadership, the ability to oversee multiple departments, and a hands-on approach to ensure operational efficiency and business growth. Position Summary : The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring smooth workflow and operational efficiency across all departments. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve company goals, managing budgeting and financial processes, leading and mentoring a team, and identifying areas for process improvement. The role also involves optimizing technician dispatch, ensuring job profitability, maintaining compliance with industry regulations, and enhancing customer satisfaction. Additionally, the Operations Manager will collaborate across departments to drive sales growth, monitor performance metrics, and ensure timely scheduling, training, and resource management to support operational success.

Work Schedule : Monday to Friday, 7 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm

Compensation : $75,000 - $100,000 yearly depending on experience Profitability Bonus!

Require Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA is a plus

Proven experience in operations management, including profit & loss responsibility

Strong strategic planning and business development skills

Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on supervising teams effectively

Demonstrated expertise in process improvement and project management

Ability to drive sales growth through operational excellence

Experience in the trade sector (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) is a plus

Intermediate computer skills (including MS Office proficiency)

Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills

Experience with service management software (e.g. Service Titan) is a plus

Main Job Responsibilities :

Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve company goals

Manage day-to-day operations to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency

Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing processes

Lead and mentor a team of employees to achieve operational excellence

Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions

Collaborate with other departments to optimize overall business performance

Monitor key performance indicators and report on operational performance

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations

Communicate effectively and timely with customers regarding questions and complaints

Review scheduled and completed jobs for efficiency and profitability

Assist the accounting department regarding customer collections and A / R processes

Ensure accurate payroll processing and reporting of employees

Ensure parts and warehouse departments have all jobs ordered and staged timely

Coordinate the repairs and service for the company's fleet of vehicles

Inspect technician vehicles for appropriate inventory and tools

Create and implement the training calendar and on-call schedule

Monitor and manage the dispatch board & technician assignments

Perform other job duties as required
