Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a critical liaison between victims and social services agencies.
- Assist Spanish and English-speaking victims in the preparation and submission of necessary paperwork for victim compensation.
- Maintain accurate case records as mandated.
- Collaborate with various victim service agencies to ensure effective service delivery and avoid redundancy.
- Provide support and backup to the CAC Division Director for office operations.
- Compile and prepare monthly and quarterly statistical reports.
- Contribute to administrative duties within the Child Advocacy Center.
- Complete Medical Staff Vouchers and submit Purchase Orders for services rendered, ensuring accuracy.
- Maintain Medical Staff databases and records as required.
- Transport and escort clients to appointments, including the safe securing of children in appropriate car seats when necessary.
- Associate’s Degree is required; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is essential.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience is necessary.
- Proficient in administrative procedures and computer applications, including Microsoft Office and database management.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential.
- A valid NYS driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
- An Associate’s Degree or higher is required, with a preference for degrees in Social Work, Psychology, or related fields.
- At least two years of experience in a relevant capacity is required, with a preference for experience in social services or with crime victims.
