EAC Network is actively seeking a dedicated Family Communication Specialist to join our Home Base (Intensive) Program. This part-time role offers up to 19 hours per week and is ideal for professionals who are passionate about enhancing family dynamics and supporting youth within the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and family counseling services in-home, within the community, and at our office to assist clients in crisis and improve communication skills.
- Mediate and address relational challenges within families, particularly between youth and their guardians.
- Collaborate closely with Case Managers to formulate tailored service plans for clients.
- Investigate and coordinate additional supportive services by establishing relationships with local hospitals and treatment facilities.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive client records, ensuring availability for supervisory review at all times.
- Offer crisis intervention as necessary and attend professional training sessions and agency representation meetings as requested.
- A Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling is essential.
- Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
- Capacity to collaborate effectively with criminal justice, treatment, and mental health systems.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including spreadsheets, Microsoft Office Suite, and database software.
- A minimum of two years of experience working directly with families is required.
- Preference will be given to candidates holding either an LMSW or LMHC.
