Reports To: Assistant Shop Foreman and Shop Foreman

Summary: Welders at EAFab are responsible for fabricating custom equipment for the steel industry and performing repairs for our clients.

Core Responsibilities:
· Read and interpret blueprints
· Set up welder control settings to perform specific operations
· Accurately produce layouts, fit materials, and perform quality welds
· Perform inspection of parts and weld quality checks
· Work both independently and in a team
Day-to-Day Activities:
· Work in a hands-on, dynamic, and collaborative environment
· Use MIG and/or Flux Core welding to carry out operations
· Adhere to all safety guidelines
· Operate welder station independently and effectively
· Be a pleasant, helpful, and optimistic teammate
Requirements:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED), OR 1-3 months related experience and/or training, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
· Formal welding education/training
· Welding certificates preferred
· Must be able to pass a drug test
