EAG is currently seeking an Application Support Architect with experience supporting and developing custom application integrations, new tools focused on automation & improving efficiency and maintaining BI reports for energy companies. This role will require experience working with production accounting, field data capture, operations data and reporting systems. Individuals in this position are clever, creative, application-savvy people who are flexible and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for our energy clients, including custom tools, integrations, and reports.
- Build, maintain, and provide ongoing support for new and existing ETLs, SSIS packages, and custom SQL queries and procedures.
- Collaborate with developers, clients, vendors, and other technical specialists to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Investigate, analyze, and solve software problems by understanding and mapping client business requirements, processes and objectives.
- Develop and continuously improve internal and external application support for one of the following applications suites: Quorum (FlowCal and/or TIPS), IFS Merrick (ProCount, Carte, eVIN, and/or FieldOperator), and Peloton (WellView, SiteView, and/or ProdView)
- Design and develop models, publish packages, and manage integration & reporting services.
- Proactively respond to and troubleshoot application issues.
- Partner with clients to define and prioritize business requirements including issues submitted by the users through ticketing and service requests.
- Develop and present solutions and recommendations to clients and internal teams.
- Facilitate project activities such as client meetings, process/design workshops, user acceptance test sessions, and weekly status updates.
- Provide hands-on business and technical analyst activities while completing project deliverables.
- Ability to work with limited supervision while being self-accountable.
- Exhibit critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills. Ex: think through the root causes, identify options, make recommendations, effectively communicate rationale.

Experience, and Educational Requirements (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelors degree in computer information systems, Business Administration, or equivalent bachelors degree.
- Experience in one of the following application suites:
- Quorum: FlowCal and/or TIPS
- IFS Merrick: ProCount, Carte, eVIN, FieldOperator
- Peloton: WellView, SiteView, ProdView
- Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL, SSIS, ETL packages, and Power Platform products.
- Strong knowledge of data visualization with at least one of the following products: Spotfire, Microsoft Report Builder, PowerBI, and/or Tableau.
- Preferred: Experience with DAX.
- Experience with designing and developing models, publishing packages, and managing reporting services.
- System implementation, data migration, and development experience are required.
- Solid understanding of database/table structures to enable effective data analysis, troubleshooting, and data flow design.
- Experience working with non-technical stakeholders on report design, issue resolution, and maintenance windows.
- Strong knowledge of change, problem, incident and service management.
- Strong in all major Microsoft Office products (Word, Power Point, Excel).
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Sitting/Standing/Flexibility: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods (8 hours or more) in an office environment.
- Communication Skills (Speech/Reading): Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English. Ability to understand and deliver instructions in multiple formats, including written, verbal, diagram, and schedule forms.
- Lifting Requirements: Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 10 pounds as needed.
- Vision/Hearing Abilities: Capability to interpret a range of instructions presented in various formats (written, verbal, diagram, or schedule).
